Privacy policy

What we collect, and what we do with it. This page covers visitors to moxile.com, businesses we talk to, and the contact lists our clients give us. Last updated 27 September 2026.

Who is responsible

ERG Ventures UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Burtscheider Straße 16, 52064 Aachen, Germany, is the controller for the processing described here. Contact: info@moxile.com. Company details are in the legal notice.

Visiting this site

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you load a page, Cloudflare's servers process the technical data every web server needs to deliver a page: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's identifying string. Cloudflare keeps short-lived logs for security and operation. We do not use them to identify individual visitors. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font service.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you contact us

If you email or call us, we receive what you send: usually your name, company, email address or phone number, and your message. We use it to reply, to arrange a call, and, if you go ahead, to set up your campaign. The legal basis is the steps you asked us to take before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this correspondence for up to twelve months after our last exchange unless a contract follows; if it does, it becomes part of the client record and is kept for the statutory retention periods for business correspondence and invoices.

Email to info@moxile.com is received through Cloudflare's email routing and delivered to a mailbox we operate.

Calls we make to businesses

We contact businesses in the United States by phone about Moxile, using business numbers those businesses publish. If you tell us you do not want to hear from us again, we record that and do not call again. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering our service to businesses (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact lists our clients give us

When a client runs a reactivation campaign with us, they give us a list of their own past leads and customers. For that data the client is the controller and we act on their instructions as a processor. We use it only for that client's campaign. We do not sell it, share it with other clients, or add it to any other outreach. Contacts who have opted out are removed before a campaign starts, and anyone who asks to stop during a campaign is removed straight away.

The messaging platform a campaign runs on is named in the setup documentation the client receives before anything is sent. When a campaign ends, we delete the list and the campaign data, except what we must keep to document the engagement itself.

Where data goes

Cloudflare (hosting and email routing) processes data on our behalf under data processing terms, in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves the European Union, it does so under the standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable to the provider.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and receive the data you gave us in a portable form. Write to info@moxile.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; for us that is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Düsseldorf, Germany.

If you are in the United States, we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Requests under state privacy laws can be sent to the same address.
